Bartow’s Tour de Tow Is A Scenic Cycling Event in September

The Scenic Tour de Tow Road Tour held in September is a little slice of cycling heaven on-road tour taking cyclists along the scenic back roads of south Bartow.


With cool reststops including a boardwalk on the tranquil Peace River and a country working barn filled with eclectic memorabilia, you can choose from a Family Fun Ride, 17-miles for $20; 35-mile Half Century Medric Ride, $30; or 62-mile Metric Century Ride, $35.00; TANDEM RIDERS, just add $10 for extra rider. To register the day of the ride, you pay $5 extra. Extra tee shirts may be purchased, as available, for $10. To buy an extra meal, pay $5.

    Early registration form is here. You may also register the day of ride at 7:00 a.m. ($5 late registration fee). Ride begins at 8:00 a.m. Chill out with our cool-down towels when you come back from your ride, and enjoy some great food from our Main Street restaurants.

    New bikes are presented each year to the Power Pedalers before the tour takes off. Kids who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford a bike are given one – encouraging them to ride for life.
