BARTOW POLICE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE GREATER BARTOW CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM:
BARTOW PD VOLUNTARY CONFIDENTIAL CAMERA REGISTRATION PROGRAM SET
The Bartow Police Department Voluntary Confidential Camera Registration Program allows business owners to register the location of their video surveillance system with the department.
When a crime occurs, members of the department will be able to quickly identify the locations of nearby cameras and enlist the assistance of the community to help officers and investigators collect video evidence and follow up on leads.
It will also allow the department the ability to directly contact members of the program that are using video surveillance in an area in which a crime occurred.
The registration is voluntary and there is no cost associated with registration. Registering your camera does not provide the department with direct access to the cameras and users may request to be removed from the program at any time. Police may ask program members to check their video footage for a specific date and time that may show activity involved with a crime.
