Polk County Waste & Recycling December Holiday Schedule

The North Central Landfill will be closed on Friday, December 25, and Friday, January 1, and in observance of the Christmas and New Year holidays. The landfill will re-open, the Monday following each holiday.

Collection services scheduled for Friday, December 25, will take place on Saturday. Friday, January 1, will follow the same schedule. The one-day delay will occur for each day of the week following each holiday. In this case, only Friday collection is affected.
