Polk Politics Political Rally and Candidate Forum is held by the Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce in election years to provide the community the opportunity to for those in attendance to get up-front and personal with candidate for office before the primary election. Each participating candidate will be given the opportunity to introduce themselves and then we want to questions from our guests for a Q&A session with the candidates.
The Candidate’s Forum, held in years that the City Commission holds elections for Commissioners at the Bartow Civic Center, this event features candidates running for City Commissioner. The spirit of the event is that of an old-fashioned political forum, where those attending have an opportunity to get up-front and personal with each candidate, before and after the question and answer program. Questions are those submitted by the general public. This event is free to the public.
Running for Commissioner this year:
SEAT 4 – At Large District
SEAT 5 – East District
If you would like to submit a question to the 2023 Candidates for City Commissioner, fill out the form below and submit. 10 questions will be selected from those submitted for the Forum.
The Supervisor of Elections office will be sending out Vote-By-Mail ballots on March 7, 2023. On March 20, 2023, the Supervisor of Elections will begin walk-in voting at their locations in Bartow and Winter Haven. The deadline to request a Vote-By-Mail ballot is March 25, 2023.
As a reminder, ALL PRECINCTS will vote at the Bartow Civic Center located at 2250 S. Floral Avenue, Bartow, FL between 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on election day.
