Youth Team Sports
Organized team sports are available for children as young as four years of age. Soccer, baseball, softball and football are all popular. In fact, Bartow is planning to improve its soccer fields and facilities within the next few months.
For tennis fans, tennis courts are available for play; and for those into exercise, there’s access to the City’s fitness gymnasium with Nautilus equipment at Polk Street Community Center.
Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the world right now; and Bartow is paying attention. The Kiwanis Club of Bartow has plans to renovate Nye Jordan Park including the playground area and providing more than 10 pickleball courts for tournament play. Stay tuned for more information about the new pickleball courts.
