events in Central Florida — the 7th Annual Bartow Chalk Walk, happening Saturday and Sunday, November 8–9, from
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Ft. Blount Park, right in the heart of downtown Bartow.

This isn’t just any art event — it’s Polk County’s only professional street painting festival, where chalk becomes magic
and sidewalks become masterpieces. Inspired by 16th-century Italian “Madonnari” artists, this modern-day celebration of ephemeral art brings together 24 creative street painters from across the state of Florida. Watch in real time as
vibrant, large-scale chalk creations come to life before your eyes — but only for a fleeting moment, as they’ll wash away
with rain and fade with time.
“You have to see it to believe it,” said a past attendee. “It’s like walking through a living gallery.”
And that’s not all — Saturday also features the wildly popular Honey Bee Festival & Craft Fair,
creating a double-feature weekend packed with live entertainment, delicious food trucks,
handmade artisan goods, and local flair.

witness the finished chalk masterpieces in their full glory.
