Community Mourns the Loss of Ken Riley

On Sunday, June 7, 2020 the Bartow community collectively mourned the loss of one of it’s greatest residents, Mr. Ken Riley. Mr. Riley was raised in Bartow, attending Union Academy, and though he left for a stellar career in football, he returned and has left a legacy that is hard to put into words. A humble man, Mr. Riley made an impact within his community as a peacemaker and someone who saw the best in anyone. He opened doors and provided opportunities for our youth. Everything he did, he did selflessly. To say he will be missed is an understatement. Bartow lost a legend, a hero, but most importantly a kind soul.
