The George W. Harris Leadership Bartow Award is given each year to a member of the Leadership Bartow Alumni who has provided consistent leadership in enhancing Bartow’s quality of life. It is the Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce’s most prestigious award and will be presented at the 2024 Annual Event on January 27, 2024. Any Chamber member is eligible to nominate a candidate. Leadership Bartow Award Criteria:
- Nominee must be a graduate of the Leadership Bartow Program.
- Nominee must have contributed significant community service within the Bartow area, with an emphasis on government, civic or social service.
- The nominee must have created a definitive positive impact on the community.
- The nominee must have been involved in the community on a continuous basis.
- Deadline to submit a nomination is January 15, 2025.
