About the Award

The George W. Harris, Jr. Leadership Bartow Award is given each year to a member of the Leadership Bartow Alumni who has provided consistent leadership in enhancing Bartow’s quality of life. It is the Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce’s most prestigious award.

Award Criteria

• Nominee must be a graduate of the Leadership Bartow Program.
• Nominee must have contributed significant community service within the Bartow area, with an emphasis on government, civic or social service.
• The nominee must have created a definitive positive impact on the community.
• The nominee must have been involved in the community on a continuous basis.

Past Award Recipients

Past recipients are not eligible to receive the award again.
